Etext admin

Hi,
I would like to enquire how is the admin for etext section coming along? I have emailed to have some of my text to be removed due to obsolescence and they are still up!!

Not to mention my new submission is nowhere in sight.

Well, I did submit some etext to him as well some time in Nov/Dec 2000. According to hs last mail, he'll get it up after his return from an oversea trip. Not sure is he back yet...

Do accept my apologies as my PC had crashed twice whithin the last 3 months and I only managed to savage whatever I can. I do remember receiving your email regarding the deletion, if you would kindly resend, I'll have it done.

As for the submission of etext, do be rest assured that every single one is looked into. However, some of them do not make the cut as they were not original ( admitted that they got it from a friend) or not from a reliable source (eg. an etext of Singapore's favourite hawker food which I received in a email from a friend weeks back before I got it in an etext). There was even one with a local MRT map but I had to give it a pass as I got no response when I asked the author to delete the NE line (works in progress) so as not to confuse visitors to Singapore.

We would certainly like to post as many submissions as we can but I am sure you as a user would like to receive quality downloads as well. I am still constantly looking out for quality works ( take the M1 roaming guige for eg. ) to diseminate out to you as well.
