    just went thru and found tat the package tat consists of Hep A and B is way over 1K...
    <sweating>
    a bit ex.....the few private clinics and SATA website that i went thru have their charges lower...

    hmmm....seems tat private hospital had a higher charge...

    sigh...my next job will be a contract one which does not cover medical claim so no point waiting lah....

    no choice lah...this money has to be spend....although my heart bery pain....

    wah do u really need a full body check up man..... its quite an expense.... esp if ur company dun cover for u...

    I think if go to SATA for full body check-up cheap lah.... last yr got my cholesterol check there free. nowadays companies cutting down on stuff like health screening for staff etc to cut costs also.
    Completely gave up on Palm, now using iPhone

    no choice lah...
    i am a person who is not really healthy enu...
    plump physique u koe...and my knee cap has been giving me problems for quite some time...
    me oso need to go for my Hep A and B jab....
    i bery kiasi lah so since got so many medical checks to do i might as well go for a full body checkup...
    one shot settle everything....
    just to set my mind at rest...and in case...if there is indeed anything wrong with me <choy! choy!> then get early detection mah....
    sigh...at an age of 26....now need to be more aware of my health liao...
    <sounds old hor? complain complain complain>

    err... 26 still got time to buck up la..... exercise more lor.... ppl midfielders 26 considered prime leh....

    actually what is consider full body checkup?
    there are 1001 tests that can be done.

    is there a "standard definition" by the medical body in singapore?
    any doctor here can shed some light on these?

    Hematologist. Results all perfectly normal or expected! So nothing to explain my fainting spells that come once in a while!

    Oh those occasions. Still think you got ripped off for going to a haematologists for syncope.

    Actually the biggest $$$ wasters are those "full body CT scans"

    I think all should be reminded that you pay for what you get, checking through Thomson Medical website you will realised that those nearing to 1k check more things than those in the lower fees.

    I think a full body check-up is a very general term. It will depend on what you want to check and how extensive the check up you want to do.
